ESK sindikatua (Basque Country)

ESK was formed by the end of the 1970s by those expelled from the CCOO union, who disagreed with the union’s pact-based stance. Since the 1980s, our union has also been present in the rest of the Basque Country, with a total of 6000 members. ESK is a combative, unbureaucratic and very participative union. We consider ourselves feminists, we believe in the sharing of jobs and wealth. We fight against exclusion and poverty, we support the implementation of the Universal Basic Income. We are aware of the limits of the environment, degrowth is our reference point.
