Call for the 5th International Ecosocialist Encounters

Code Red, Code Green.

We have to talk.

We have to talk about ecosocialism.

We have been talking about capitalism. Meanwhile capitalism has been frying the planet and draining the peoples. It is time we seriously talk about how we change this.

On 21-23 January 2022, we will come together in Lisbon, Portugal. We will ask questions and aim at answering them.

We will talk about the How: where does power lie today and how can it be dismantled, how can we create disruption, what opportunities can we seize?

We will talk about the Who: who are the revolutionary subjects of ecosocialism, who is already mobilizing, who is ready to be mobilized, and who isn’t but should be?

We will also talk about the Where To: what core values guide that new society we envision, and what social and economic organization does it have?

It is no easy task, but it’s definitely easier than living through climate chaos and social conflicts. Join us in our ambition.

You are invited.
